STM Packaging Group

STM Packaging Group are a British manufacturing company who specialise in polythene packaging solutions for all industries. They are a proud member of the “Made in Britain” campaign and valued, long term CRM-UK customer.

We have enjoyed a long relationship with STM Packaging as we used to provide support for their GoldMine CRM system, so when GoldMine started causing them problems and wouldn’t grow with the company, they came to CRM-UK for help.

We analysed the requirements of STM Packaging, worked closely with their management team and highlighted greatly improved Opportunity Management, far better document management and creation functionality and the ability to integrate with their Sage Line 50 accounts package were top of the list of requirements.

CRM-UK implemented Gold-Vision CRM as its standard out of the box functionality ticked all the boxes. STM Packaging provide an unrivalled service to their clients and prospects so a Gold-Vision CRM system was the only CRM Solution that would keep up with their sales team. We also implemented integration between Gold-Vision CRM and Sage Line 50 to provide the following functionality:

  • Synchronise Company and Contact information with CRM as the master
  • Synchronise price lists for quicker and more accurate quoting with Sage as the master
  • Automatic creation of sales instances when a sale is closed won in CRM to reduce data input and streamline sales order processing
  • Display Account status information within CRM to ensure sales people aren’t selling to non-payers

One of the main architects of the system within STM Packaging, Dean Gray predicts that they have saved 1 or 2 man days a week with this integration between Gold-Vision CRM and Accounts.

We continue to develop the CRM system with STM Packaging and work closely with them to ensure CRM is functioning correctly. As Gold-Vision CRM is continually developed, STM Packaging will never need to move CRM tools again.
